Primary need is speech, language and communication (two years or more language delay/disorder). This includes boys with bilateral hearing loss (moderate to profound) with language delay or disorder; boys may also have a secondary need of social communication providing that their needs can be met in a lanuage rich environment and are compatible with the needs of children with hearing loss. Students will be able to access a differentiated mainstream curriculum.
Coombe Boys' SRP will have a cohort of 20 students when full. There will be four spaces per year group. All students come with an Education, Health and Care Paln (EHCP).
Students will be able to access a differentiated mainstream curriculum. The curriculum offered is bespoke to students' needs but generally students will access a combination of lessons in the SRP and in the mainstream.
