Today we were thrilled to host @lucasjmaxwell for a talk to our year 10 boys on his new book ‘A Million Tiny Missiles all at Once’ our boys were then able to get copies of their books signed and ask any questions they had. #CBSLibrary @go_all_in_2026

Last night, 80 members of the Coombe Boys’ Community — CBS pupils, parents, siblings and staff — came together for a brilliant #CBSDrama @cbsperformingarts family theatre trip to see the truly AMAZING Paddington the Musical 🧸✨ A heartwarming, joyful evening full of laughter, music and magic… and of course a timely reminder that a wise bear always keeps a marmalade sandwich in his hat, just in case of emergencies 🍊🎩

It is empowering and encourages us to become rebels against tech wizards. The book is set out in an appealing way, using comic strips and information boxes.⠀ 💻KS4: The Teenage Guide to Life Online by @nicolamorgansbrain provides a balanced and well researched look at what happens to us all when we spend time on our screens. On Friday our Year 11 boys enjoyed a well deserved breather from their final exam preparations as we celebrated their five years with us at our Fun Day. Inflatables, ice cream, pizza and lots of great memories. Thanks to the #CBSPFA for their support in making this happen.
