Induction Day Update - Part 2! Our new boys have had a fantastic day, taking part in exciting Science experiments, enjoying P.E. on the field, and receiving their Big Read book to enjoy over the summer, along with their Student Welcome Guide packed full of useful information for September. It has been a pleasure meeting everyone, and we hope they've had a brilliant day at Coombe. We're looking forward to welcoming parents to this evening's Welcome Meeting and seeing many of the boys again for the Labyrinth of Challenges! Our Year 7 Book Group has spent a lot of time this year actively reading and recommending potential books for Year 6 students who will be joining our Coombe community in September. There were so many to choose from but our committed judges eventually narrowed the choices down to these final 3.⠀ Our Big Read reveal will be announced tomorrow. This weekend our Year 9 boys have headed to France for a residential. It has been a fantastic first day visiting the somme battlefields. Highlights include the 1916 museum and the Arras memorial to the missing. Dinner and football at the hotel now!
