#BOTW⠀ 📙KS3: The Last Bard by @MazEvansAuthor (much loved author of Who Let The Gods Out), is a story about Will Davenport who has sadly known more tragedy than laughter. However, in an unexpected twist, he inherits his grandfathers' copy of The Complete Works of Shakespeare and makes a surprising discover. As you would expect this book is full of humour and heart.⠀ ⠀ 📗KS4: Hag-Seed by @therealmargaretatwood is a contemporary retelling of The Tempest. In Atwood's version the plot takes place in a correctional facility. It tells the story of Felix, a former theatre director isolated from society who is now teaching literature through performing Shakespeare plays. Compelling story with themes of revenge, grief, imprisonment and that transformative power of art.⠀ ⠀ #CBSLibrary #CoombeBoysRead!

Check out Jae reaching new heights! He’s officially finished the construction phase of his cardboard table in the Thinking Outside The Box club, and it’s clearly sturdy enough to hold the man himself. It’s amazing what a little engineering and a lot of cardboard can do. Next up: the paint shop.
