Winners of the Inter-House Public Speaking Competition are ... Willow House. Congratulations to Rehaan, Jaiden and Qaasim for the Willow House win and a special mention to Jae and Ayaan who also won awards for their speeches and to Zeph who delivered the best speech of the night. The boys worked in teams of three delivering speeches on a range of topics including: picking options at school, necromancy, and procrastination. Thank you to our judges - The Mayor, Councillor Noel Hadjimichael and Mr Smith, and a huge well done to all the boys who took part. #CBSInterHouse #CBSPublicSpeaking
Year 8 have been to Brighton beach to experience the excitement of real "GCSE-style" Geography fieldwork. The boys carried out two key investigations - a human geography study examining the suitability and impact of tourism along the promenade, and a physical geography investigation exploring the impact of groynes on longshore drift and coastal management. Thank you to the #CBSGeographyTeam for running these trips and making Geography such an engaging subject for our boys. #CBSGeography #DeliveringExcellence

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: We have a big pile of uncollected EXAM CERTIFICATES sitting in Reception. If you sat your exams with us last year, please come and collect them urgently. If you ask someone to collect on your behalf they will need a signed letter from you giving them permission, and photo ID. Exam certificates are important documents and you will almost certainly need them at some point in your life.
