Our @Cine_Schools Film Academy students were excited to interview Dr @millie_horton_insch, Project Curator of the Bayeux Tapestry Exhibition at the British Museum, for their documentary project. They have been examining how the tapestry reads in the way we read modern media, framing, bias, symbolism, asking whether it's history, spin or both. It's a lesson in how stories are shaped by whoever holds the needle (or pen, or camera as the case may be!). The boys are enjoying combining the subjects of history and film.⠀ ⠀ #CBSMediaTeam

We are celebrating British Science Week with our #BOTW.⠀ ⠀ KS3: Women in Science by @rachelignotofsky is a gloriously illustrated book about the pioneering women who have contributed to the fields of technology, maths, science and engineering. An inspiring read.⠀ ⠀ KS4: It's Not Rocket Science by Ben Miller is a highly readable and witty book about the science you really need to know!
