It is a delightful festive read with the underlying message of hope and kindness.⠀ 🎄KS4: A Christmas Carol - Charles Dickens⠀ No explanation needed for this classic save to say, "I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future. The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me."
Final rehearsals for Carols by Candlelight tonight ahead of our performance tomorrow. Looking forward to celebrating the start of Christmas at St James Church.

Particular congratulations to #IntelligentHippo on their phenomenal achievement - they are officially the 20th fastest team in the UK to complete the fiendishly difficult #GCHQNationalLanguageCompetition. Competing against 2734 other teams from schools across the country, we are incredibly proud of our teams who all ranked within the top 30%. What an achievement! We were honoured to welcome the @rbkmayor and Paul Seymour from local charity @kingstonkcah to school this afternoon to meet with student representatives from each Year 8 tutor group to celebrate their amazing effort in collecting items to make up 'Boxes of Support' for local homeless people. Well done to the whole of Year 8 supporting this project.⠀ ⠀ #CoomeUnity #CBSYr8⠀
⠀ 📢 And the winner of the 'Design The Official CBS Christmas Card Competition 2025' is Danny Beecheno in Year 10. Mr Smith commented that the standard was very high this year, and it was a difficult decision, but Danny's design stood out for him due to it's festive feel and clever use of watercolour tecniques. Well done Danny! ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #CBSChristmas #CBSArtTeam
