It’s been a busy few weeks for the #PerformingArtsTeam & tomorrow we arrive at our last event for 2024 our annual Carols by Candlelight Concert. Final rehearsals took place today and we are looking forward to marking the Christmas season at St James Church New Malden take a 👀 ❄️🎄
It's Christmas Dinner Day in the school canteen! Students are excited to be celebrating with a roast turkey dinner (or the vege option of course) and Christmas crackers. Thank you to our fantastic @independent.catering canteen staff who who make serving hundreds of Christmas dinners in a short space of time look easy!⠀ ⠀ #CBSChristmas #schooldinners
Our last #BOTW recommendations for this term.⠀ 🎄 KS3: A Boy Called Christmas by Matt Haig. If you believe in the magic of Christmas, this is a must read story of a boy called Nikolas and his extraordinary adventures into the snowy north in search of his much loved father.⠀ ☃️ KS4: A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The season is not complete without reading A Christmas Carol and reminding ourselves of the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who learns the hard way about the true meaning and spirit of Christmas.⠀ ⠀ #CBSLibrary #ChristmasReads
