⠀ It's #BookOfTheWeek time again! Here are the recommendations for this week.⠀ ⠀ KS3 Dragon Mountain by @kwebberwanders ⠀ Our new Year 7 students and staff have enjoyed reading Dragon Mountain over the summer holidays. This book was chosen by our Year 8 book group as they wanted to share this story of adventure, perseverance, friendship and dragons! Many of our new students have requested the books in the series and copies are available in the library to borrow⠀ ⠀ KS4 On the Edge by @nicolagarrard7 ⠀ Nicola is our literary festival resident author so we are delighted to be celebrating her latest book. It is a story about a surfer called Rhys who lives in Devon and how he navigates being a teenage boy and dealing with life issues on a personal and wiser level. It is powerful, immersive and compassionate and resonates with our students.⠀ ⠀ #BOTW ⠀
