8. Closing our competition were our brilliant Year 12 students in the Advanced Solo Musical Theatre Category & wow what variety and talent these young men & women have. We have some powerhouse singers & actors in the category. What an amazing final Drama 🎭 category to end with.
7. Post interval our Intermediate Solo Musical Theatre Category 🎭 saw boys from Year 9-11 take to the stage to show their talent. Students weee judged on acting and characterisation, vocal delivery, interpretation & stage presence. This was an outstanding 🎭 Drama category.
6. Up next as our 4th category was the Music Solo category. An impossible category to judge when instruments varied from flute to piano, guitar to drums. Boys apply to perform with the Music department and prepare their entries in their own time.
5. Our 3rd Category saw our Year 9 boys take to the stage in the Classical Monologues category. Similar to Year 7 all boys in Year 9 learn & perform a classical monologue in their Drama lessons earning points for their house. Two boys from each house are then selected to compete.
4. Our 2nd category of the night was the Small Group Musical Theatre Category. This Drama 🎭 category is led entirely by the young men competing. Boys form a group, select a song, audition & then if successful have 3 weeks to prepare their vocal, acting & movement. Take a 👀 👇🎭
